What is HIAB / Lorry loader training?

It is a training course that will enable you through a mixture of theory and practical learning to be able to safely operate loads from a lorry mounted crane.

Our courses are as simple as that! If you are new to the world of HIAB training and are looking at the possibility of a HIAB driver job delivering for builders merchants, you will have to start out with a novice course. NDC uses the gold standard of accreditors in ALLMI, and this is a two day course covering a variety of attachments and skills. If you have prior experience and can prove through prior working history, you will only need a one day HIAB training course.

The National Driving Centre was authorised in October 2014 as a Government Approved Driving Test Centre for commercial vehicles. The only one in London. The National Driving Centre complies to all procedures and standards laid down by the DVSA to conduct LGV/PCV driving tests with DVSA delegated examiners.

Can you park at NDC?

Unlike other training companies that can meet you in the street or other unsuitable locations, at NDC we have their own purpose-built training centre where there is ample free secure parking on site.

  • If you have little or no experience then a Novice Course is right for you. If you are unsure, call our office and we can discuss which course is right for you.

Two Attachments! Refresher

£ 425 1 day
  • If you just need refresher training then a one day Experienced Course will be enough where we can cover the attachments you need.
