NDC has been HGV training for over 40 years and has had thousands of newly qualified lorry drivers go out into the UK and the world to find their new lorry job. The HGV training is the first step of the journey that involves – Theory tests, practical driver training and then finally the lorry driving test, conducted right here at the National Driving Centre. Being our own government-approved test centre means you will do your HGV driving test in the familiar and comfortable setting of NDC. Test where you train!

  • Expert tuition with our qualified instructors – 08:00 – 15:00 each day. We keep your HGV training simple and easy to understand
  • YouTube videos demonstrating ‘How to pass your lorry driving test’ to the C+E reversing exercise and Trailer drop with the use of drone footage to give you another angle to help with learning ahead of the tests
  • If you are interested in your Class 1 licence, look no further as there is no drawbar here. Fully articulated all the way! At NDC we believe the only way to teach Class 1 / C+E is fully articulated as it will prepare you best for your Class 1 driving job after training.
  • Your HGV driving test will be conducted at our DVSA-authorised test centre where you’ve trained all week on course

GOVERNMENT APPROVED DVSA TEST CENTRE

The National Driving Centre is a Government Approved LGV & PCV Driving Test Centre, authorised back in October 2014 by the DVSA.

We comply with procedures and standards set by the DVSA to conduct LGV & PCV driving tests with delegated DVSA examiners. This means NDC is a unique driver training company, allowing our customers to not only train on site with us, but test with us!
