LGV   (formerly HGV)   Category C + E   (formerly Class 1)  -  Articulated

LGV HGV driver training course To tackle this top level of LGV training (formerly known as HGV Class 1) - the 'C + E' course - you must already have the 'C' Category on your licence.

We use a Daf CF85 430 unit with a splitter gear box coupled to a boxed trailer giving an overall length of 15.5 metres. No need for further training because you pass in the right type of vehicle in the first place. You will be driving a real artic!

REMEMBER:
Generally your new employer will expect you to be able to handle and be assessed in a full sized artic unit.
